Retries

If your endpoint returns a non-2xx status or times out (30s), DKP retries with exponential backoff.

Retry schedule

Attempt	Delay after previous failure
2nd	1 minute
3rd	5 minutes
4th	15 minutes
5th	1 hour
6th	6 hours
7th (final)	24 hours

After 7 failed attempts the delivery is marked dead.

Auto-disable

After 25 consecutive failures across all deliveries, the endpoint is automatically disabled to protect your server from continued traffic. You can re-enable it from Settings or via the API.

Deduplication

Each delivery attempt reuses the same X-DKP-Delivery UUID. Use this to make your handler idempotent — store processed delivery IDs and skip duplicates.

Replay

You can manually replay any failed or dead delivery from the deliveries log in Settings, or via the replay API endpoint.
